Our leadership programmes are designed to:

  • Deliver hard business results. We believe that leadership and management development programmes should pay for themselves in measurable and tangible results for the organisation. Our clients report this of our programmes.
  • Produce a cultural shift that is aligned with strategic intent. Our programmes are specifically designed to help the CEO to deliver strategy, change culture or implement a major change. While our programmes generate profound learning outcomes, their principal focus is on results.
  • Work at depth with leaders, not just on skills but on their personal impact , presence, focus, motivation and confidence. We do not just work at the skills level – because ultimately using a skill depends considerably on the skill user.
  • Focus on application to working lives rather than just new knowledge. We care little for how much information someone may retain, but rather for changed behaviours.

We do this by:

  • Identifying the capability gap that could impede strategy implementation. Often our leadership programmes follow our own work with the senior team to articulate and align on strategy, or we are called in when the organisation has already committed to a new strategic focus. Every programme is uniquely designed to equip people to build this future together.
  • Using ‘blended solutions’. Most of our programmes are six to eighteen months long and involve coaching, action learning teams, personal study and reflection, new practices and reading between modules, to supplement time at off-site learning events. Our programmes require participants to work on tough business problems, and require effort from participants.
  • Working with the whole person: that is, emotions, purpose, the body and cognition. We believe that a sense of personal purpose and mission, and a clear set of personal values are what gives senior leaders power.
  • Drawing on the best leadership methodologies from around the globe. We use groundbreaking models developed by leading thinkers in leadership and management development, strategy, philosophy of language and knowledge, and somatics.
  • Effecting personal change and transformation. Participants often say "this programme has altered my performance in ways I could not have predicted“. We create greater self-awareness and real choice about taking new actions. We provide a level of personal challenge that most participants find refreshing and empowering.
  • Effecting organisational change and transformation. We do not only work at the level of the individual. Where team and organisational issues need to be resolved to unlock the potential of individuals in the organisation, our facilitators will address these issues and shift the culture.
