Tim
Stanyon
Tim is an experienced consultant, facilitator and coach who specialises
in organisational and behavioural change, leadership development (especially
supporting new leaders of major change initiatives) and strategy implementation.
He has worked in the consulting business for nearly 20 years. He has
worked in most sectors and his clients include KPMG, DEFRA, Barclays
Bank, Addax Petroleum, Ministry of Defence, Toyota, IBM, ICL/Fujitsu,
and Inland Revenue.
Tim has designed and led several organisation-wide change
programmes and has supported many others in this role. He brings a deep
commitment to working in a humanistic way and combines this with a pragmatic
approach based on wide experience. His work as coach and facilitator is
informed by his understanding of business issues for clients and his recognition
of the importance of the authentic self in leadership.
Before joining
Future Considerations in February 2007, Tim set up his own consulting business
as a facilitator and coach, working with senior groups and executives engaged
in leading major change activities within their organisation. In this capacity
he was an Associate of the National School of Government. Prior to that
he worked at Hedra, a small specialist public sector consultancy, where
he led major change programmes for central government. Before Hedra, Tim
had spent nearly 15 years working for several of the large management consultancies
(Deloittes, Coopers and Lybrand and PricewaterhouseCoopers), where
he reached the level of Director. During this period Tim developed
C&L’s Knowledge Management offering and also had the role
of Director, Global Knowledge Manager for the PwC Business Process
Outsourcing Division. Tim also participated for many years as a senior
tutor on the firm’s leading internal development course where
he taught on Process Consulting and Change Management.
Tim’s first
degree was in English Literature and Language gained at Birmingham
University in the UK. His has completed the course elements of the
MSc in Change Agents Skills and Strategies at Surrey University (Human
Potential Group) and is completing his dissertation in 2007. Tim has
undertaken training with the Strozzi institute together with a variety
of facilitation and coaching training.
Tim has a passion for Shakespeare
and is a Friend of the Shakespeare Globe in London. He goes to the theatre
and cinema as much as his busy work and home life allows. Tim sings with
an amateur choir and enjoys a wide ranging musical taste.
