Ed Lamont
Edward is a successful consultant, coach and trainer. He specialises in leadership development, communication, and "impact and influence" training. He has had extensive training as a somatic coach, and in the cognitive model for individual and organisational change.
His clients have included BP Oil International, Capital One, Halliburton, ABN Amro, Cisco Systems, Microsoft, Axa, and the RAC. He has considerable experience in working with large groups over long periods in programmes that include both intensive experiential components and one to one coaching. Edward is a polyglot who trains, facilitates and coaches in English, German and in French, and speaks conversational Italian.
Prior to moving into consulting, he worked for seven years in commodities, and during that time set up a successful gasoline components broking business for an international brokerage firm based in London.
Edward's first degree was in modern languages, and he funded his studies performing in a one-man show as a juggler, mime and clown. He did post-graduate work in physical theatre in Paris at the Lecoq school and the Ecole du mime corporel dramatique.
Edward is also an occasional contributor to the Financial Times and other quality dailies. In his spare time he competes in triathlons, travels, and reads extensively on meditation, spirituality, and human development.
