Ila Panik

Ila Panik is a Consultant and Operations manager for Carbon Considerations, bringing creativity, wisdom and business acumen to the internal and client facing operations of Carbon Considerations. Her mission is for Carbon Considerations to be set apart from the competition by the standard and quality of its operations.

Ila's expertise is in corporate social responsibility and organisational sustainability strategy. She has worked with non-profit and public organisations in the United Kingdom and United States to develop business strategies which focus equal weight on positive financial and social results.

Through her consulting work she focuses on helping businesses create sustainable advantage by uncovering and implementing strategies which link the company's people, environment and economic opportunities. In conjunction with this she is dedicated to developing and creating a large impact by bringing Carbon Considerations' programs to all businesses. Through this initiative she is aiming to help businesses reduce their energy consumption and carbon emissions; therefore helping companies to remain competitive while contributing to the fight against climate change.

Prior to joining Future Considerations, Ila spent four years as a financial advisor with Morgan Stanley in the United States. At Morgan Stanley Ila built a 13 million dollar business delivering comprehensive solutions to business and private clients. She managed projects and delivered over 100 presentations and learning events as well as presenting as a guest speaker at numerous organizational events. As a guest speaker she was praised for her ability to clearly present complex topics, her insightful strategies and tools as well as her ability to engage individuals in taking action.

Beyond her accomplishments in business, Ila was a professional dancer for 5 years performing in ballet and revue productions in Japan, the Caribbean, Thailand, New York, and throughout other parts of the United States.

Ila's experiences in the business world and the arts have been nicely complemented by her BSc in Business Administration and Masters of Business Administration from London Business School. At London Business School Ila focused her studies on business, global, and sustainability strategy. She was an active member of numerous initiatives focused on sustainability and its hugely increasing role in the business world.

When she is not spending her time on sustainability related events and activities, Ila also enjoys sports, gardening, DIY, art and traveling. Ila is originally from Nevada, USA where the sun shines 320 days a year, yet she has really fallen for London.
